Snatched Face & Lips

Facial contouring is the name given when a combination of different dermal filler procedures are used together in order to create a natural-looking contour to the face.

As the treatment uses needles, it's important to numb the areas that'll be injected with a topical numbing cream beforehand as it helps minimise pain. Jawline filler is placed along where the natural jawline is (or would be, as some don't have a strong jawline at all) typically with a cannula, and gets rid of the appearance of a round, undefined face. Fuller lips are often associated with youth and beauty. Fillers injected into the lips can accentuate the vermillion border, plump up thin or ageing lips, balance asymmetrical areas and if injected into the philtrum can lift the cupids bow. Also they are very moisturizing and can help to hydrate dry lips.

Pre Care

+ You can take Antihistamine and Arnica tablets (you can buy both from Boots) 1 week before your appointment to help reduce bruising and swelling post treatment.

+ Avoid drinking Alcohol 48 Hours before your treatment.

 

+ Drink lots of water.

Post Care

+ Drink 2/3l of water per day following the treatment.

+ Avoid massaging the area the lumps should subside within 2 weeks.

FAQ's

Will I swell and bruise ?

This differs from client to client. We advise clients to take arnica tablets and anti-histamine on the lead up to their appointment to help reduce or ease the possibility of bruising and swelling.
