Anti - Wrinkle Injections

Anti-Wrinkle injections temporarily block the nerve impulses to muscles. Preventing them from moving.

Botulinum Toxin treatment can be used in men and women to treat lines & wrinkles, however men may need slightly higher doses than women. On the day of the procedure a series of small injections, in approved doses, are given to the area requiring treatment often the frown, forehead & crows feet. This will feel like a small scratch and is not overly painful. The results can be seen in as little as 3 days but the full effect can take up to 14 days. This is when you will be offered a review and a top up may be considered.

Pre Care

+ You can take Antihistamine and Arnica tablets (you can buy both from Boots) 1 week before your appointment to help reduce bruising and swelling post treatment.

+ Avoid drinking Alcohol 48 Hours before your treatment.

 

+ Drink lots of water.

Post Care

+ Drink 2/3l of water per day following the treatment.

+ Avoid massaging the area the lumps should subside within 2 weeks.

 

+ Avoid alcohol 48hrs post treatment to reduce bruising.

FAQ's

Will I swell and bruise ?

This differs from client to client. We advise clients to take arnica tablets and anti-histamine on the lead up to their appointment to help reduce or ease the possibility of bruising and swelling.
